THANK YOU, GOD
- For CCI/Ukraine staff that taught a camp leadership seminar in Moldova with 37 leaders from 4 camps, and led an instructor training course equipping 44 experienced camp leaders to train counselors and program leaders.
- For Staff Training Workshop committee meetings in Georgia, Armenia, and Country X that are working on their programs. Five more cabin group leaders have joined the Georgia STW team. Five more churches have registered for the STW in Armenia. For the new camps that will be started in Armenia this summer.
- For Camp Agape in Country X, that hosted their three-day day-camp for 15 children.
- For Camp Christ’s Legacy, Ukraine, planning to run a three-day Easter Camp for 60 campers at the end of April with a church from another city. The camp is thankful for their teenagers who are volunteering in running their camp programs.
ACTIVITIES
- CCI/Ukraine is working with instructors to prepare courses for the CampDays National Conference on May 17-19 in Ukraine. Counselors, program leaders, sports instructors, and camp directors from across Ukraine are invited to attend. We expect over 300 camps to be trained and operational this summer.
- CCI/Armenia and CCI/Country X staff is promoting their STW in churches, coordinating program preparations and working with the educational track instructors, and program team.
- CCI/Georgia team is working to recruit two more cabin group leaders as well as a sports instructor.
- Camp Christ’s Legacy is preparing their residential summer camp program for 70 campers. They are holding prayer meetings with the team and teenagers.
- KVI is preparing the May 25 Prayer Vigil in Winnipeg to pray for Ukraine and Russia.
